So I went to Las Vegas last week for WPPI. It is the largest convention and trade show in the world for photographers. What I heard was that there were over 10,000 photographers there. Hard to believe. It was massive. Hence being held in Las Vegas. Probably my highlight of the trip was when I walking to one of my classes and out of the corner of my eye I spotted one of my photographs that WPPI had enlarged to 8′x12′ and used for display. There were probably only 8 photographs at the trade show that were used for signs etc and WPPI used one of mine. What an honor! I took a photograph with my new friend Darcy in front of it.

Also added to the Blog this week are some photos of the Las Vegas strip and some photographs that we took during one of my classes. This was hilarious. We had a model dressed as a bride and a model that looked quite amazingly like Johnny Depp from Pirates of the Carribean.
